Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 Methods Procurement Analyst 3's located in San Antonio, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes the current and future business environment and develop forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans. Develops and maintains complex Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning. Develops labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages by utilizing labor standards, tool and production design drawing reviews, and Tool and Production Operations concurrence to support program business plans. Monitors performance. Participates in the development of integrated (e.g., crew cycling, learning curve, shift analysis, optimum/maximum crew size, tooling capacity) tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives. Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events. Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery. Develops modifications to existing plans and obtains approval for plan changes. Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts. Develops, implements, maintains, and statuses integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments. Develops and supports shop performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.

This role will provide shipside support of work packages in production, to operations, conducting time studies, and implementing process improvements.
• Schedules work to support program schedule, analyzes headcount requirements, and provides performance to plan metrics.
• Develops labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages by utilizing labor standards production design drawing reviews, and Production Operations concurrence to support program business plans.
• Participates in the development of integrated (e.g., crew cycling, learning curve, shift analysis, optimum/maximum crew size, tooling capacity) production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow.
• Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Scheduling jobs,
Top 3-5 technical/software skills needed to perform this role/job: Advanced Excel skills, Powerpoint, Manufacturing Execution Systems (preferably GOLD, VIPERS), Precedence Modeling (preferably Aurora)
Any certifications required?: No. PMP, LEAN, Six Sigma a bonus.
Specific bill rate max requested?:
Any specific educational requirements or certifications required for the role?: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
• Must possess experience in problem solving and improvement projects
• Experience working with the following software and database technologies is preferred: the Aurora Client, Job Sequencing and Scheduling Toolkit – Capacity Management Application Database (JSSTK-CMAD), Electronic Bar Chart (EBC), E-Visuals, Priority Board, & Mantis
• Experience in the aerospace manufacturing build process and design
• Experience in Lean processes and implementation
• Experience working in both a development and sustaining program environments
• Experience in leading recovery planning activities that include identifying critical program enablers and performance to plan measures to ensure effectiveness
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION:
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time/First Shift
Shift expectations: Variable. 1st or 2nd.
Work schedule: M-F, Weekends occasional as required
Start time: End time: 1st = 6:30-2:00, Split = 10:00-6:30, 2nd = 1:30 – 10:00

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
