- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Customer Support Engineer II for an opening in Oklahoma City, OK.
Conducts research on simple technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer. Analyzes information to evaluate reported discrepancies. Provides assistance to system owner in researching event to determine safety implications, preparing analysis, recommendations and presentations to various safety processes, boards and forums. Prepares routine communications and presentation material for dissemination to internal and external customers on specific components/limited systems. Researches and develops engineering updates of less-complex technical in-service issues. Works under general supervision.
•Conducts research on technical, operational and quality issues;
•Analyzes information to evaluate reported discrepancies;
•Provides assistance to system owner in researching events to determine safety implications;
•Prepares routine communications and presentation materials for internal and external customers;
•Researches and develops engineering updates of technical in-service issues;
•Work under general supervision.
•2+ years of experience in conducting research on technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer;
•2+ years of experience with technical issues and/or Service Literature
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience reading and interpreting technical data
•Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle
•Experience and proficiency with MATRIX
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7am-4:30pm
