Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Material Handler I for an opening in Wortham, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with repair activities including computers and electronics. Perform repairs to mechanical parts. Assist with Inbound and outbound shipments. May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
2 year of material handling experience preferred. Background in computer repair and electronics repair. Good communication and customer service skills. Functional knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures. Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and willingness to cross-train in multiple areas. Flexibility with recurring work situations and tasks. Mechanically inclined and knowledge of basic use of tools. Follow warehouse safety standards and use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Strong computer skills including familiarity with relevant software in Excel and Word.


EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED

WORK HOURS:
Part-Time
20 HOURS PER WEEK
7am-4pm.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
