Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 1 for an opening in Hazelwood, MO

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to support the integration of technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Supports the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build. Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems. Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience. Position Responsibilities:
•Reviewing drawings, models, specifications, and other technical documentation to ensure manufacturability of spare parts.
•Building technical data packages for use by suppliers.
•Developing and implementing manufacturing plans.
•Analyzing design and build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigate alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements.
•Resolving technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost or schedule.
•Consult and coordinate with other engineering teams across multiple platforms and disciplines.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
•Advanced computer skills with proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
•Experience with CATIA, Unigraphics (NX) or other 3D Computer aided design tools.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
•Experience with sheet metal, machining processes and composites, as well as knowledge of assembly/installation processes.
•Previous experience from professional internships.
•Formal leadership positions held in work, volunteer or extracurricular organizations (ie. manager, club officer, mentor).

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Prefer local candidates.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
