Chipton Ross is seeking a Data Analyst for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX

The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The Data Analyst will perform business analysis on multiple engine fleets using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining for forecasting engine removals and revenue. They will determine best practices and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management for the current business operations. Develop and implement database reports, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Formalize, document and improve work flow for fleet data collection related processes. Set-up and implement fleet data reporting for KPI monitoring and product improvement including reliability tracking. Use discretion and available resources to resolve discrepancies in data that may arise that could impact removal forecasting, revenue forecasting and tracking of customer assets. Work with business unit leaders to develop budget and forecasts based on key operational and financial metrics. Work with business unit leaders to write, and or update work instructions and processes. Update and maintain engine fleet tracking database (SAP Business One)

Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
Knowledge of how to work with large amounts of data to develop scalable financial reporting solutions.
Knowledge of SAP preferred
Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Able to work independently
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

High School Diploma or GED required

Work Schedule
1st Shift, 5/40 schedule

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
