Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electric Thruster Engineer for an opening in Redmond, WA.
The selected candidate will help assure the success of space missions through development and qualification, of Hall thrusters and ion engines. The candidate will also be a key resource in the development and testing of new electric propulsion products.
The selected candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and the highest standards of quality assurance for the testing of mission critical hardware.
The candidate will follow established procedures and the guidance of senior staff. The position also requires the ability to work independently and apply engineering principles, theories and concepts.
Typical duties will include performing technical analyses, planning and conducting test and verification activities, analyzing test data, and generating customer presentations.
Bachelors Degree required
A Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline and coursework in plasma physics are preferred.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
