Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for an opening in Nellis AFB, NV.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.


REQUIREMENTS:
Possess aircraft component troubleshooting and/or repair procedures and replacement of components, and aircraft systems. Understand Technical Compliance, Time Compliance, or Aircraft Modifications. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting. Location will start at Nellis AFB, NV and around June shift to Edwards AFB, CA (as required)
