Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager I for an opening in Eugene, OR.

OBJECTIVE:
This role serves to facilitate the information flow between operations, marketing, customer service, technical service, customers and sales on custom services, products and projects. The team objective is to maintain positive interactions with Sales and the customer to facilitate order placement, determine technical product feasibility, create internal infrastructure, address concerns, and assist in determination of corrective actions and drive timely customer follow-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track the custom service process from the initial inquiry to shipment and invoicing of final product. Collaborate with all parties involved to analyze and improve current processes. Ensure final shipment of products (services) that may include, preparing a project summary, tracking progress, and contacting the customer. Recognize communication problems between the company and the customer, identify variables, recommend appropriate actions, and make necessary corrections to the processes. May generate business metrics and reports to track the performance of the business across products and processes. Coordinate team, inter-team, or inter-departmental problem-solving teams as the need arises for custom projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience in a manufacturing, technical assistance and/or customer service setting strongly preferred. Experience in successfully creating top quality work under aggressive timelines. Project Management and/or Customer Support related experience is a plus. Must have strong communication (oral and written), organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets and databases. Ability to quickly learn multiple computer systems and programs. Able to set clear priorities, demonstrates strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Strong follow-through skills. Work comfortably and effectively with all levels of leadership. Consistent demonstration of accuracy.

EDUCATION:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field preferred.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
M-F, 8-5

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
