- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Writer for an opening in Fremont, CA.
This candidate will work closely with cross functional development teams to write, edit, review and finalize manufacturing, labeling and QC documents. The individual will write, process, and implement PCO/DCO packages into Master Control and Agile (document management system).
Work with a Quality Engineer to implement changes required by Customers. Create/edit documents impacted by the customer change notifications. Work independently with various departments to revise documents relating to Quality, QC, Labeling Manufacturing production/process instructions, policies, and procedures. Initiate Management of Change (MOC) and implement document/labeling changes through Master Control and Agile. Organize customer change notification information utilizing MS Word and Excel functions as well as manage the documents associated with the change requests.
Minimum of 1year of technical writing experience. Experience in using a Document Management System as a Technical Writer. Must be computer literate and competent in PC based software such as Office 2010 Professional (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Proficient with 55+ wpm minimum typing speed. Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSRs and GMP is preferred. Ability to work in high-pressured deadline oriented environment. Good skills at alpha and numeric sequencing & filing. Proofreading and editing skills, and an aptitude for numbers and detail oriented work requiring a high degree of accuracy. Proactive in suggesting improvements in workflow. Must have excellent customer service and listening skills. Basic arithmetic skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts and to interpret the data. Able to sit, stand and/or use keyboard for long periods of time. Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. Must have the skills to work as a strong contributor in a team effort.
Accredited Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Candidate MUST be local
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
