Chipton-Ross is seeking a Test & Evaluation Lab Tech 2 for an opportunity in New Orleans, LA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under general supervision.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1+ years of experience in the design and testing of electrical hardware and wiring

Preferred Qualifications
AA (or higher) Electronic Technical Degree
1+ years experience with Avionics and/or Electrical systems
1+ years of education or experience in space-based propulsion systems

EDUCATION:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS: 6:00AM-2:00PM
Full-Time/First Shift

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
There are 3 months of the year where variable shifts will come into play, where candidate will need to work second shift or weekends.

This position will be 100% onsite.

MISCELLANEOUS:
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
