- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Data Designer 2 for an opening in New Orleans, LA.
Develops multiple publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a fielded equipment minor system or multiple sub systems. Collects, researches and analyzes source data and validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions. Estimates the impact of the proposal or changes to the publication elements.
-Generate/Update/Release of Acceptance Test Procedures
-Redline incorporation / revision to already released documents for Core Stage Two, Three, Four
-Document real-time recording of procedural findings during support of the MAF Acceptance Test in the Simulation Lab
-Develop and release Procedures using the ADPM system and Coordination with signatories as required
-Develop and update Change Initiation Forms for Functional Test Cores Stages Two, Three, Four
-Maintain and report to buyer at least bi-weekly, metrics for the purpose of tracking work progress.
Accredited Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Travel in support of tests in New Orleans and Huntsville. Estimated travel for a total of 2 months during the period of performance to support statement of work.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT: 6-2 pm
There may be times when the project needs would require later work or weekend work.
ADDITIONAL INFO: This position will be 100% remote.
This work assignment has been designated as "safety-sensitive" by the Client. Contractors assigned to safety-sensitive jobs at the Client site must first complete regulatory pre-placement requirements prior to reporting to assignment. Additionally, contractors assigned to safety-sensitive work will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with federal mandates.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
