- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Lab Coordinator for an opening in Princeton, NJ.
Maintain all lab equipment, work with facilities and engineering on preventive maintenance schedule, vendor appointment as and when required and maintain calibration status of all equipment, including pipettes. (15%) Maintain lab inventory of chemicals, common reagents, assay kits, assay standards, non-stock items, and other general lab consumables. Communicate stocking needs to inventory management group on site. (15%) Preparation of chromatography buffer, formulation buffers, etc. according to buffer sheets with quality and consistency as requested. (25%) Manage incoming samples for testing and ensure proper sample submission. Ensure samples are appropriately discarded as and when ready to do so. (20%) General lab organization and 5s for lab workspaces. (10%) Assist in routine lab tasks, including but not limiting to glassware cleaning, stocking supplies, freezer cleanup, periodic defrosting, etc. (15%) Work with receiving department to organize shipping and receipt of materials between sites and with client/vendors. (10%) Work with facilities and safety to ensure chemical waste pick up and management in the lab. (5%) Assistance in sample aliquoting/preparation as needed. Maintenance of weighing balance, pH meter, and DI water systems.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
