Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking an IT Customer Service Specialist for an opening in Greenville, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision, provides desktop support covering hardware and software issues and requests, and provides one-on-one user assistance covering a variety of IT services. Identifies, researches, documents and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and walk-in requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors all requests to ensure a timely resolution. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of Information Technology.
• Professionally delivers one-on-one desk-side support resolving HW and SW issues and fulfilling first and second-level service requests.
• Provides quick initial response and fast first-response resolution of help desk support requests.
• Manages and documents all support request statuses and communications through the help desk system.
• Performs setup of equipment for employee use, performing OS installation and application configuration, following documented procedures.
• Performs troubleshooting and repairs for hardware, software, and printing issues.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field with 0-2 related experience or 2 year post-secondary/AA degree and four years of prior experience

WORK HOURS:
8 to 5
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
