Chipton-Ross is seeking a Financial Analyst for an opening in Orlando, FL

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Download the individual CLIN PSRs, Labor, and Non-labor back-up from Costpoint, and attach to the WAWF invoice. Print hard copy for the individual CLIN Billing folder. Calculate the Cost Plus-type CLIN invoices in Costpoint, and assign invoice number and the appropriate ACRN or ACRNs.
Print Form 1034 to go with the 1035 and scan the two documents together. Maintain historical record of CLIN invoicing activity. Post all the invoices in Costpoint. File the invoice with the appropriate back-up in the individual CP-invoice folders.
Pull all of the back-up for the FP-type CLINs that are submitted in the combined Progress Payment invoice. Attatch the back-up to the Progress Payment invoice in WAWF. Once DCMA approves the invoice for payment, post the individual amounts by CLIN in Costpoint.
Monthly Financial Reporting: Prepare the Revenue/Margin/Bookings file that is a key portion of the monthly financial package. Assure variances against plan, prior forecast and prior year are correct. Prepare the corporate and internal OH charts for each pool, also included in the monthly financial package. Assist with gathering and reviewing of data required for monthly Indirect Spending forecast.
Metrics: Collect all metrics related data for both the Division metrics file as well as the monthly Finance scorecard.
Audit support: Support various DCAA/DCMA audits by gathering historical data from CP and/or COGNOS. Audits include FPRP, progress payment and other government audit requests (CAS418). Also prepare Incurred Cost Submission schedules & support the Incurred Cost Audit with DCAA.

REQUIREMENTS:
Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Government Regulations (FAR, DFAR), Good working knowledge of cost elements and their relationships.
Familiar with principles and concepts of revenue recognition on long term contracts.
Ability to interact effectively with external and internal customers and work both independently and with teams is vital.
Must possess strong analytical skills.
Must be detail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excel skills; Pivot Tables, V-lookups, complex formulas.
Must have experience with a Government Contractor and a strong understanding of Government contracts.

Deltek Costpoint experience is strongly preferred.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from and accredited college or university or equivalent preferred and a minimum of 3 years of overall related experience (or an equivalent of education and experience) is required.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
