- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accounts Payable Representative II for an opening in Franklin, MA.
Enter invoices for assigned entities, while ensuring compliance to approval matrix. Process weekly check runs and data transfer to Bank of America for check processing. Verifies vendor accounts by balancing monthly statements and related transactions. Support the Accounts Payable Team handling the vendors master data, including new vendor review and setup, maintenance, etc. Build and manage relationships with vendors, improving communication reducing potential vendor shutoff issues. Support allocated entities answering queries and resolving issues. Assist with the monthly Accounts Payable close, accrual process and own AP side of monthly inter-company process. Ensure compliance with Thermo Fisher policies and procedures. Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Experience in Shared Service Center a plus. Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Excellent communication skills are required. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is required. Experience with automated MAPICS XA and SAP ERP systems is a plus.
Accredited High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Accredited Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
