- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Accountant for an opening in Fort Collins, CO.
The Accountant I will be responsible for executing operational accounting processes and ensuring accuracy & timeliness of the site’s accounting records. The position provides opportunities for significant professional growth as business needs change. This is a unique opportunity to help scale the accounting operations of a hypergrowth business and gain exposure to M&A integration in a key area of the Biosciences division.
Process accounts payable & accounts receivable. Book journal entries and ensure accuracy of the site’s accounting system records. Support M&A integration and streamlining of accounting operations. Perform special projects as required.
1-to-3 years experience in accounting. Exposure to a manufacturing environment is a nice to have. Success scaling a hypergrowth businesses a plus. Superior attention to detail while moving quickly in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of US GAAP. Strong Excel skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas orally and in writing. Experience with QuickBooks, JD Edwards E1, SAP, or similar ERP system a plus.
Accredited Bachelors degree or equivalent with significant coursework in accounting and/or a quantitative discipline.
Interest in and/or progress toward a CPA license a plus.
work hours flexible (8-4p or 9-5p)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
