- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Planner for an opening in Lenexa, KS.
Responsible for driving process improvement through the design and discipline of Standard Work for Planning mainly but also Procurement activities. Responsible for leading Supply Reviews with Operations teams, designing proactive production philosophies. Responsible for upskilling of the planning community, designing and maintaining world class of standard work and training. Responsible for creation of standard templates and approaches to Plan Conformance, Standard Planning alignment meetings and all KPIs made visible and measured in the same way across sites of remit. Responsible for creating a community for Business Continuity Planning and developing the Planning community to cover new project requests and creation of agile planning processes to meet continued moving market dynamics.
Develop a high performing team by:
Drive action to set up systems and governance for the planning teams. Setting clear performance expectations and help set a plan and execute this. Use various planning strategies - exception reporting, stock control, forward 2 week fixed plan, 13 week rolling window etc to establish new rules and ways of working at the site. Support and coach the team and individuals to achieve the desired results . Improve the processes and come up with better ways of working.
Create a Successful Work Environment by:
Creating an environment where individuals feel valued and different perspectives are encouraged and respected. Fostering a culture where individuals feel physicallyand emotionally safe and can raise difficult issues. Promoting a culture of learning and information sharing. Regularly reviewing team’s priorities. Have the courage and discipline to prioritise the critical few and stop-non/low-value-added work.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
