Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 4 MP&P Engineer 3's for an opening in Kent, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines requirements for materials, parts and processes used in the manufacture of products. Produces specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of materials, parts and processes. Maintains compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations. Promotes standardization across business activities. Evaluates emerging technologies for potential application to business needs. Develops and qualifies new materials, parts and processes to meet requirements. Integrates new technologies as appropriate. Manages test and audit programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements. Conducts analysis to determine reasons for failures of materials, parts or processes. Implements corrective and preventive actions. Designs, develops and qualifies computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements. Works under general direction.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assists with definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture and/or maintenance of Boeing products
•Drafts engineering specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes
•Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs
•Assists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements
•Performs routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements
•Conducts routine analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts or processes
•Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions
•Develops computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements
•Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
•Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
•A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
•Experince in electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, electro-optical systems
•Experience with engineering drawings and specifications
•Experience with programming/CAD tools for design, data acquisition, and data analysis (e.g. AutoCAD, MatLab, COMSOL, etc.)

EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
