Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
•Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
•Perform Technical analysis/ develop technical solutions associated with affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
•Develops, maintains and identifies system operations and improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology integration and readiness assessment processes.
•Resolves cross-functional distribution of System Requirements and technical issues.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of combined experience in the following categories :
•Aircraft Avionics/Simulation Systems Engineering and/or Software Engineering
•Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware solutions and uniquely developed components.
•Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
•Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
•C++, Java, Python, DirectX, OpenGL, UI frameworks and software frameworks.
•MBSE, PLE, DOORS, Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI)
•LINUX, WINDOWS,
•Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) (Multi-Platform Networking)

EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

TRAVEL:YES
Up to 10%, domestic.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
