Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Technical Writer for an opening in Santa Clara, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write technical work instructions, SOPs, or maintenance instructions on systems related to bioreactors, controllers, calibrations or sub-assemblies. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or personnel. Work closely with production personnel to create very detail oriented work instructions. Create work flow chart. Use photographs, mechanical/electrical drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material within the work instructions.Accurately transcribes information provided from a draft document. Provide training to manufacturing technical staff

REQUIREMENTS:
Has experience writing manufacturing documents and understanding of some basic technical terms. Candidate will be highly detail-oriented and organized. Candidate to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Knowledgeable and efficient with Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience working with production and automated test equipment preferred. Able to work in production environment. Experience in managing priorities and schedule.

EDUCATION:
Minimum 2 or 4 years technical degree from an accredited school or university

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Hours: M-F (8-5pm or 7-4pm)

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
