- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 1 for an opening in Huntsville, AL.
Assists with the documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Gathers information to support software project management. Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics. Supports software research and development projects. Troubleshoots basic software issues. Works under close supervision.
o Develop software for basic test management activities utilizing ASP.net and other current software standards of the Boeing Company.
o Maintain configuration management of the tools and incorporate enhancements and upgrades to support the changing test environment.
o Working knowledge of ASP.net, Java, ASP.net, LINQ, and C#,
o Modify, enhance, and maintain existing applications with guidance and supervision utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Visual Basic
o Work with customers to develop tool requirements and confirm that tools function as expected.
o Hands on experience developing simple tools with ASP.net
o Experience with Database development.
Accredited Bachelor's degree in an engineering classification from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
