Description
Chipton Ross is seeking a Process Engineer for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX

Responsibilities
Responsible for the process design, operation and implementation. Improves industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize profitability. Develops, configures and optimizes industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification. Assesses processes, takes measurements and interprets data. Designs, runs, tests and upgrades systems and processes.
Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others
Assist the facility manager in organizing/scheduling of suppliers and materials for successful completion of multiple site projects within the targeted timeframes.
Assist in plant layout drawing modifications to ensure all proposed changes for the relocation of equipment, workstations, lighting, plumbing, and electrical services can be accommodated.
Assist facilities department in the execution of internal improvement initiatives involving building infrastructure and production processing equipment.
Assist in the deployment and functional trial of new equipment to ensure all engineering requirements originally specified in the initial planning stages with the OEM have been met, and the equipment functions according to expectations.

Requirements
Experience: 1-3 years
Enrolled or completed a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university program; or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Beginners/Intermediate level - Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD or equivalent is preferred
Mechanical/Technical/Interpersonal skills must be adapted to the unique requirements of the organization.

1st shift, 5/40


Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
