Chipton-Ross is seeking a Calibration Technician 2 for an opportunity in Chandler, AZ.

Calibrates electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Provides calibration service for the internal metrology lab. Follows standard procedures and established guidelines calibrating test and measurement equipment. This position is a critical part of the process to get test equipment to the customer when they need it and ready to operate.
Calibration, functional testing, and configuration of test and measuring equipment, utilizing provided procedures and standards.
Maintains accurate records of tests and services performed and enters required information in the company's database.
Ensure calibrations performed are traceable to NIST.
Assist customers with technical issues.
Clean and accessorize equipment and maintain a clean and orderly lab area.
Work on assigned projects with minimal supervision making decisions within established guidelines and policies.

High School diploma
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and must be a motivated, self starter who can meet internal customer’s needs.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
School must be accredited.

9/80 workweek, 1st shift with alternate Fridays off

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
