Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Packaging Engineer for an opening in Canoga Park, CA.
-Perform engineering design tasks related to the design of complex space electronics and electrical cables/harnesses for application in demanding mission environments and electrical test equipment.
-Design duties include electronics packaging of complex space electronics. electrical cables/harnesses, and electrical test equipment, definition of electrical mechanical interfaces, capture designs in CREO for release in Windchill, prepare and present relevant designs at design reviews, and to fully participate in a multifunctional team development environment.
Experience with CREO and Windchill a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering and at least 5 years of direct experience with packaging space/power electronics for application in harsh environments including space, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
