Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Procurement Agent 1 for an opening in Hazelwood, MO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to problem solve and make strategic decisions. They will need to have knowledge of procurement processes, business acumen and negotiation. They will also need to possess analytic skills and have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.

EDUCATION:
This position will require an Accredited Bachelors degree, with preferably 4 years of related work experience. Certifications are not a requirement for this position.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:
The candidate selected to fill this assignment must successfully pass a credit check performed by the client.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Local candidate needed. Position will be virtual for the time being, but contactor will need to come on-site as needed.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
