- Chipton-Ross is seekign a Picker/Shipping for an opoenign in Milwaukee, WI.
Stage and pick customer orders from inventory. Pack orders for shipment. Coordinates shipments with various carriers. Accurately keep records, ensure shipment orders are correct, and documentation is completed. Maintain accurate inventory through inventory receipts, adjustments, moves, cycle counts and restocking.
Entry level logistics experience or equivalent. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to verbally communicate, read and write in English. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to use metric system. Ability to handle chemicals and/or work in an environment where chemicals are present. Employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move greater than 50 pounds with assistance. Must be available to work overtime if/when required to do so. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or walk for extended periods of time and occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distant vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Ability to adapt changing environment and handle multiple priorities. Computer literate (minimally email, word and data processing) Be mechanically adept and able to apply mechanical fundamentals to properly operate, maintain, and improve the performance of the equipment within their area of responsibility.
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
2nd Shift Hours: M-F 2:00PM – 10:30PM
Train on first shift: 9 – 5:30; once trained, would move to second shift (2-10:30p)
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
