Chipton Ross is seeking an Electrical Technician for an opening in Little Rock, AR.

This position will perform electrical wire harness modification and repair at customer sites.

Modification and repair of bundles at partner sites with the following duties
Reads instructions such as work orders, diagrams, form boards and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
Rework connectors, back shells, wires terminations, splices, split rings, lugs and any other component built in a Wire Harness
Wrap and tie wires
Route wires
Change routing/ breakouts
Perform Electrical Tests
Complete associated paperwork
Assist with the training of other technicians when needed
Ability to obtain and sustain Operator Self Verification (OSV)
Adhere to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
Regular, predictable attendance is required
Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Must have 2-4 years of Wiring experience or a combination of experience and training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic ability to complete new hire training requirement
Advanced wiring knowledge
Expert ability to work in a team environment using interpersonal skills

Scope of Responsibility
Under moderate supervision performs modification and repair of bundles at partner sites
Assist with the training of other technicians when needed
Moderate supervision-work is reviewed at critical points for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy

Planning, Analysis and Problem Solving
Problem solving becomes more complex

Internal contacts, including Area Team Leader, Operations Team Leader, other peers in group and the customer

Work Schedule
1st Shift, 5/40

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
