Chipton Ross is seeking a Credit/Collection Support for an opening in El Segundo, CA

In this role the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support in the collections process. The selected candidate will prepare outstanding accounts, reports and gather credit and/or reference information. Maintain database by entering, updating, and retrieving data, as well as formatting and generating reports. Assist in resolution of outstanding invoice problems from past due accounts. Responds to inquiries from customers or external collection resources. May place calls or send messages to those with unresolved issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
" Contact customers about pending and past due invoices
" Document results and track progress
" Follow-up routinely to resolution
" Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
" Works on problems of moderate complexity, diversification or expense.
" Normally receives general instruction on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments

" High School diploma or GED is required
" Minimum of two years of experience in a similar position
" One year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Work Schedule
1st Shift, M-F 7am - 4pm

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
