Description


Chipton-Ross is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II for an opening in Remote, CA.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resolve inquiries related to distributor orders, returns, shipments, products, claims, credit memos and customer concerns
Initiate ocean, air, and land transportation track and trace (as required)
Investigate and resolve problems through root cause analysis using various reports and data to resolve logistics challenges
Monitor and provide status of critical shipments and ensure inbound/outbound on time delivery
Interact with key personnel to monitor and develop process to ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders and shipments
Sales order entry into company’s ERP system
Provide customer support to change or cancel existing orders
Ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to maximize sales, market share and profitability for the company and distributors
Participate in benchmarking to ensure customer service levels are aligned with industry standards
Establish strong working relationship with business units, distributors, logistics partners, and Operations team members to provide high levels of customer support

REQUIREMENTS:
Adhere to customer processes to ensure accurate payment
Point of contact for customer portals, including order and invoice transmissions.
Requirements0-1+ years experience related to supply chain and logistics operations Outstanding customer service skills Excellent written and verbal skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Basic knowledge of logistics functions within SAP or a comparable ERP system preferred Basic knowledge of Sales Force or comparable CRM system preferred Basic analytical skills with Microsoft Excel experience


#SYSTEMS SUPPORT
Create and maintain distributor customer master data in company’s operational systems (SAP & Salesforce)
Ensure all transactions are properly entered and maintained within the relevant system

#OPERATING PROCEDURES AND COMPLIANCE
Communicate to assigned distributors
Support the claims management process with distributors

#MISCELLANEOUS OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Provide logistics and order support as needed
Conduct ad hoc reporting & analysis
Support as required for annual physical inventory and audits
Maintain documentation and procedures related to logistics policies and procedures
Prepared to assume additional tasks outside job description (as needed/directed)

#TMS

Daily interface with SAP TM to identify logistics or freight issues for assigned customer groups and process through to resolution.
Provide ad hoc reporting as needed from the SAP TM and BI reporting systems.

EDUCATION:
Education requirements Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in a related field to the position requirements

SHIFT:
Full-Time

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
