Chipton-Ross is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
Purpose: Plans, implements, and administers professional nursing services related to employee health and safety.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, collaborative, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who can exercise good judgment and who takes significant initiative. Must also possess:
" Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel on a regular basis
" A team player attitude, with an ability to supervise several projects in a fast-paced environment
" The ability to prioritize and respond accordingly to various situations
" Strong computer skills. Must be able to understand and work with the MS Office Suite
As part of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team, you will be responsible for:
" Providing (first responder) emergency and non-emergency care to The Aerospace Corporation's employees.
" Preparing and submitting required reports; tracking and verifying follow-up treatments regarding occupational injuries and illnesses; maintaining Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) log;
" Arranging, coordinating, and administering medical surveillance exams, and managing the medical surveillance program
" Maintaining medical records on all employees
" Conducting ergonomic assessments
" Attending on-site meetings and drills routinely
" COVID related tasks, including COVID risk assessments, return to work clearances, vaccine tracking and other tasks associated with COVID management
" Maintaining wellness programs- including health education
" Any other task assigned by Environmental, Health and Safety
Requires Bachelors' Nursing Degree (BSN) and Registered Nurse accreditation from State of California required.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
