Individual should be a high energy and detailed individual, capable of working independently and with a small team in the antenna and radome design/development field.

Primary job responsibilities:

Responsible for the hands-on design and realization of individual advanced radome systems.
Use computational electromagnetic analysis software (e.g., Ansys HFSS, Dassault Systems CST Studio Suite, MATLAB, CARLOS-3D, and CADDRAD) to design and predict performance on various types of radome systems.
Design and test of advanced structures using materials such as loaded honeycomb core and/or similar core geometries, loaded foams and elastomers, MAGRAM, R-Cards, Circuit Analog sheets / absorbers, and Frequency Selective Surfaces
Specify design and materials for radomes to be produced to meet RF performance specifications.
Design new radome products and test new materials to meet anticipated customer requirements or to add new products and technologies.
Creation of test plans and procedures to test radomes and verify RF performance specifications.
Able to analyze outputs from the anechoic chamber measurements, prepare summary reports comparing to RF performance specifications.
Participate and guide the testing of development radomes for required performance metrics: VSWR, insertion loss, gain, polarization, radar cross section (RCS), etc.
Radome requirement evaluation, initial concept trade-off and development, in-house and customer presentations, travel, and technical proposal writing and cost/schedule estimating.
Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
