Chipton-Ross is seeking a Inventory Coordinator for an opening in Wauwatosa, WI.

Work with Demand Manager to maintain business unit stock policy, determine and implement stock parameters for ERP execution.

Collaborate with Sales, Logistics and Customer Service to ensure proper prioritization of inbound purchase receipts and transfers is aligned with the overall distribution regional supply plan and freight cost control objective.

Communicate proactively and effectively any inventory supply constraint so as to minimize impact on service level and inventory targets.

Responsible for examining and investigating misidentified or out-of-balance items and determining cause of discrepancies

Assist Demand Manager to ensure new product launch and product transitions are executed properly through effective and efficient inventory planning and stock migration.

Measure and KPI reporting related to inventory

Act as liaison between demand planning, customer service and distribution.

Comply with and/or create SOP/work instructions related to inventory management activities.

Back up and Cross Train with other team members to further enhance value to the organization. Actively Participate on Teams and Improvement Projects.

Practice good ergonomic and safe work habits in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and Bostik specific EHS guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

A fast paced and simultaneous competing priorities which will require multi-tasking and focus on results.

Both 1:1 collaboration and project team environment where timely follow through with stakeholders and meeting personal commitments are important to obtain optimum result and meet deadlines.

Heavy knowledge of data gathering and analysis; process improvement; and problem solving techniques.

Heavy use of computer software, both PC based and enterprise system, combined with frequent interpersonal communication.

Disciplined master data governance focusing on end-to-end business processes and their required analysis of data.

Deliver effective solutions to various inventory problems based on accumulation and analysis of data.

Proactively manage inventory to align with business unit stock policy OTIF and TWC requirements

Essential to deliver effective results by communicated deadlines.

Executes Supply Chain policies, process reviews and ongoing improvements.

3+ years of experience in distribution and inventory management of a major manufacturing firm. Customer Service experience a plus.

Skilled in multi-echelon inventory analysis and MRP transactions in a major ERP system. SAP hands-on experience highly desirable.

Intermediate to Advanced Level of Excel, Word, database and web based skills.

Solid knowledge of forecasting and logistics methodology.

Strong data driven problem solving skills is important.

Ability to efficiently manage time and workload, which includes planning, organizing, prioritizing, and follow through on assignments, projects and reports while meeting all deadlines.

Four-year college degree in a technical field desired. APICS certification(s) preferred.
