- Chipton-Ross is seeking an Operator I for an opening in Syracuse, NY
Responsible for reading, understanding and following assembly processes.
Can assist in the setup of test equipment, leak tester and/or tensile tester, can leak test cuffs and run other test as required.
Must be able to perform routine assembly operations, including soldering, using RTVS (room temperature vulcanization silicone), epoxies and can fold, label and box product.
Must be able to use measurement equipment or have the ability to learn.
Must have good verbal and written skills, can keep records, has basic problem solving skills and able to train and work with a diverse group of people and maintain a positive attitude.
Must consistently meet all productivity and quality requirements.
Must be self-motivated and require little supervision.
Must demonstrate good judgment, handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
Must be able to lift 40lbs while utilizing proper lifting techniques.
Must be able to work in various positions: standing, sitting and be able to work on repetitive jobs
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
