- Chipton-Ross is seeking 15 Occupational Health & Safety Specialist 3s located in Renton, WA.
Develops, implements and monitors occupational heath and safety programs and processes. Develops and provides training and instructions. Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations. Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections. Plans and conducts health and safety audits.

The work will require some travel to site locations where the contractor may be required to walk around a site and climb stairs to view areas of concern. There is not an expectation of lifting or other physical exertion. We will provide a level setting to them of the life critical processes and our requirements/ command media that must be met. We are looking to them to help develop, coordinate, and drive forward solutions.
Domestic travel required up to 20% of the time.
Accredited Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
