Chipton-Ross is seeking two Mechanical Technician 2's for an opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of duties assisting packaging engineers in the development of part protection designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Understands detailed drawings for fabrication. Devices, fabricates, and assembles new or modified proto type components or assemblies. Sets up and tests complete prototypes. Recommends modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED.
Has thorough experiences handling shop equipment and power tools.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED.
School must be accredited.

HOURS:
9/80 work week.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
