Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Software Engineer 4's located in Oklahoma City, OK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Leads activities to develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Leads development of code and integration of complex software components into a fully functional software system. Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Provides technical leadership for software projects and leads software supplier management activities. Leads development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics. Plans, executes and documents software research and development projects. Serves as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes and regulations. Tracks and evaluates software team and supplier performance to ensure product and process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Works under minimal direction.

Position Responsibilities:

Participate as a member of a high performing, collaborative team and be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management, and interpersonal skills
Integrate commercial and Boeing developed software into Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux operating systems
Use Agile methodologies to support all aspects of product development and project management
Scripting to support application of security settings on Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux platforms
Designing systems to meet current and future software and application requirements
Have the ability to work with multiple support teams to identify and resolve issues
Implement and test software/systems using a variety of technologies to include scripting to support automated testing
Networking and support of Ethernet and Fiber Channel networks
Support VMWare and Linux virtualization applications
Attend design and review board meetings to help facilitate system maturity and lifecycle support
Storage Area Network and Network Attached Storage administration
Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience having System Administration experience of Linux/Unix or Windows platforms
5+ years of experience in software systems integration
5+ years of experience in scripting activities in a Linux or Windows environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience computing administration to include managing Microsoft active directory design, deploy and operational support
1+ years of experience using PowerShell
1+ years of experience with networking communications standards, IP Networking, and protocols (e.g. Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Secure Transport Protocol (SCP), Extensible Mark-up Language (XML)
1+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming
1+ years of experience working with Virtualized Systems (i.e. VMWare) design and implementation

EDUCATION:
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

MISCELLANEOUS:

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Role is on-site, candidates must be local to OKC or willing to relocate at own expense

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
