Chipton-Ross is seeking a Sr Product Data Steward for an opening in Grand Island, NY.

The Sr. Product Data Steward (aka: Execution Analyst) is responsible for executing product data changes throughout the lifecycle of the product in compliance with corporate procedures, 21 CRF Part 11, and ISO 13485 requirements. The Execution Analyst will support complex projects including acquisitions and integrations of product portfolios, and will provide training on our processes and data standards to other functions in all regions around the world. The scope of responsibility includes management of the processes and data associated with raw materials, bills of materials and sellable products that are managed in Oracle Agile PLM, Oracle Cloud PLM, Oracle E1 and SAP 4.7 and are commercialized in all regions where the client does business.

Drive the process for product creation, business updates to any of the 300+ product attributes and product or site-specific discontinuation by coordinating the review, fulfillment, and approval of product data setup by relevant functions through our change control workflows that originate in both Agile PLM and Oracle Cloud PLM and populate our two ERP systems: Oracle E1 and SAP 4.7. Load, create, and update data directly in Oracle E1 and SAP 4.7 as per NPI, product changes, site extension, and discontinuation procedures. Manage and address data quality issues on any workflow, namely adapter failures, workflow rejections, and change orders holds. Provide product data support and contributions under guidance on projects that include: process improvement, new product configurations, new system capabilities, system implementations/enhancements, data cleansing, site closures, acquisitions, manufacturing transfers, and integrations of product portfolios from other client businesses and third parties. Primary contact for providing PLM support for designated sites which includes: answering questions about processes, data, change orders in process, Agile PC or Oracle Cloud PLM training, supporting special requests for product updates, activation or discontinuation, troubleshooting for stuck orders (any order in Oracle E1 or SAP 4.7 that is not flowing normally), and implementing process improvement, and driving root cause and countermeasure analysis and actions. Create reports that measure process cycle times and compliance to Service Level Agreements of individual process stakeholders. Deliver PLM training and provide product data subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders such as: PDM team members, manufacturing, compliance, planning, procurement, product management, and customer service. Develop an understanding of Agile PLM, Oracle Cloud PLM, Oracle E1, SAP 4.7 and the interfacing adapters for each, the capabilities and limitations of all, as well as other system which integrate with Agile PLM and Oracle Cloud PLM (e.g. Hybris, TRAX, EDW). Develop a working knowledge of the 100+ data standards and validation rules, the 80+ supply lanes, the 10+ product configurations, the 7 part types, and the 17+ change control workflows. Apply a basic knowledge of the relationships and dependencies between the 300+ data attributes on a single SKU and the impact that a change to each attribute has on all related attributes and products. Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive processes using process improvement, PPI tools and techniques, Excel macros, ERP-specific upload tools, and Robotic Process Automation. Participate in the creation and review of process documentation. Contribute to daily Tier 1 Board meetings with data, observations, and improvement opportunities.

1 – 3 years of experience in Product Life Cycle Management and Change Control desirable. Knowledge of ERP/PLM Systems, understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) structures and product lifecycle management processes. Skilled in use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel spreadsheets is mandatory, as is a capacity to follow written procedures. Ability to communicate data requirements for all five core processes, changes to data standards, systems, and data management processes along with any impact to different functions and regions. Basic understanding of Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology. Ability to build positive internal relationships with close network to support business processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet goals and timelines. Individual must be?self-motivated with excellent organization skills and be detail oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a large, global team and across all levels. Ability to initiate own tasks with input/guidance from manager. Ability to work independently and as part of a global / regional team to accomplish individual and team objectives. Good problem solving and reasoning skills to effectively deal with problems varying in complexity relative to job level. Exhibit an enthusiasm and strong desire for improvement to self and team processes. Ability to grasp big picture of overall SKU setup and the related process pieces. Ability to manage between multiple responsibilities.

Associate degree from accredited college/university or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
