- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Resin Qualification Technician, Chemistry Manufacturing for an opening in Sunnyvale, CA.
The Resin Qualification Technician is a team player in the Operations department at the Sunnyvale, California site. The department is part of the Ion Chromatography and Sample Preparation business unit that supports several other business units within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry division.
The Resin Qualification Team in Sunnyvale, CA is responsible for qualifying many of the functionalized resins that are key to the success of Thermo Fisher’s Ion Chromatography portfolio. We are seeking an individual with strong communication, technical and operational skills to join our dynamic and fast paced team. This position will provide direct labor to the Ion Chromatography and Sample Preparation business unit. The candidate will follow SOPs and work in compliance with safety, regulatory and quality guidelines.
Follow all EH&S safety requirements and participate in safety improvement activities. Adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines and the corporate quality policy. Complete complex production work-orders. Report problems and propose countermeasures. Proactively identify improvement. Assist in assessing accuracy, trends, and interpretation of testing data. Communicate effectively with other production staff and interact proficiently in cross-functional teams.

Accredited Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry preferred) or equivalent.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
