- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Contracts Administrator for an opening in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will be responsible full life cycle contract administration. You will coordinate input from departments outside of the Contracts organization such as Business Development, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and Program Management. You will also review and negotiate key contractual elements, including but not limited to, payment provisions, delivery schedules, price, choice of law, intellectual property terms, and liability and indemnification clauses. Working closely with the Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations are met during the life of the contract, and that all change activity is authorized, documented and appropriate consideration received.
You will need at least 5 years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in contracts administration and negotiation. Strong analytical skills are necessary.
• The ability to take a lead role, and work closely with outside organizations to achieve a common goal.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• A JD is desirable, but not required.
• A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent additional experience).
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
