Chipton-Ross is seeking a Accountant II for an opening in Remote, MD.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
The accounting representative will manage inquiries from the global mobility team, employees on international assignments (expatriates) and business units. The representative will also be responsible for the administration associated with an expatriate tax operation, including developing and maintaining lists for tax services and frequent business travelers.Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and taxation principles and guidelines, compensation discrepancy research, problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Great customer service and interpersonal skills are critical and constantly in use when working with our expatriate population to provide education and understanding of U.S. and foreign taxes. We have a team approach to provide high-quality service for expatriate tax compliance, planning, and general business operations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with individual income tax returns. Experience in performing, compiling and analyzing compensation data and tasks accurately. Experience with payroll and accounts receivable. Ability to work as a great team player in a fast-paced team environment and multi-task numerous projects. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail-oriented, logical, and methodological and proactive approach to problem-solving, preparing Data analytics and follow through to closure.

DESIRED:
Ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment. • Proven ability to recognize potential issues • Experience in problem-solving activities such as reported and escalated issues to work with the employee and stakeholders to closure and resolution

EDUCATION:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Global Management or equivalent experience High proficiency and advanced skills in Excel and pivot tables to analyze large amounts of data

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
