Chipton Ross is seeking a Embedded S/W Engineer Level 4 for an opening in Grand Prairie, TX.
This position is for an a software engineer who will develop embedded real-time software on the PATRIOT Advanced Capability – 3 (PAC-3) family of missiles, launchers, and fire-control products. The software is being developed using the Ada computer language as the target language. Test code is developed in C++ either on a Windows or Linux operating system. The target operating system is VxWorks with the target hardware being custom processor boards designed for hard real-time performance.
Ada Ada/C++ binding Agile development Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering C++ 11 or higher DOD Secret Clearance Full software life-cycle development Issue tracking and task management tools Linux Operating System (OS) development Real-time embedded software with millisecond/microsecond response time Real-time operating system (RTOS) Software configuration management / source code versioning tools.
Algorithm implementation Architectural Design - Rhapsody Code Collaborator - Code and Document peer review Documentation - technical design Documentation - test procedures Git - Source code configuration management Jira - Issue/Change tracking VxWorks Windows OS development.
Accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
