Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Document Control Clerk for an opening in Alachua, FL.

SUMMARY:
This position provides clerical support to the Document Control department in a cGMP environment. The right person is self motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload with high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Most also be self-motivated and task oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary responsibilities are (95%): Documenting receipt and sorting of incoming mail. Scanning, labeling, and filing. Manage and track archive requests. Periodic transfer of documentation to long-term off-site storage. Occasional recall and return of records from long-term off site storage. Other duties as assigned by the Quality Systems and Document Control Supervisor 5%.

REQUIREMENTS:
One year of appropriate experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to communicate in a dynamic environment.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma/GED
Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience or exempt by manager approval.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Mandatory overtime in evening and on weekends and holidays, when needed to meet project timelines. Must be flexible in regard to work schedule.

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
