- Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Systems Engineer 2's located in Huntsville, AL.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Position Responsibilities Include:
•Draft and review of requirements for completeness, quality, and traceability
•Develop model based systems engineering content for requirements and verification
•Collaborate with multi-disciplined systems engineering teams across commercial, defense, and support divisions
•Integrate design development and program management processes within system models
•Support risk assessments and generation of mitigation plans with regard to compliance with system requirements and customer capabilities
•Develop analytical architectures and integrate analyses into system models with regard to requirements analysis and analytical verification
Must have an ENG degree
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
•Experience/domain knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering is preferred
•Experience IBM Rational DOORS is preferred
•Experience with CAMEO or Rhapsody is preferred.
•Experience with complex systems integration and test preferred
•Experience with risk management processes
Accredited Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Required: Bachelor or Master degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, com
