Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a General Ledger accountant for an opening in Sylmar, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position you will be responsible for AR and General Ledger for two locations. You will carry out critical general ledger accounting tasks, serving as a process owner for certain processes.
• Prepare and send invoices to customers
• Maintain precise records of all incoming payments
• Contact customers as needed to ensure payments of outstanding invoices
• Reconcile Account Receivable
• Intercompany Invoices
• Assistance with Time Cards correction/audit
• Assistance with Intercompany Transactions at the Month End
• Intercompany AR and AP reconciliations
• Month End Journal Entries
• Ad-Hocs

REQUIREMENTS:
knowledge of Gov’t regulations (FAR/CAS) is plus.
Strong Excel skills are needed.
Strong communications skills.

EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's degree and at least two years of accounting experienc

SHIFT:
9/80

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
