Description
Chipton-Ross is seeking a CAD Operator for an opening in Philadelphia, PA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Mechanical Engineering Department creating technical drawings from sketches, Engineering Change Notices, and verbal instruction.
· Create engineering drawings from inputs provided by engineers and designers
· Work with the engineering staff to create detail drawings, from layouts and sketches. Interpret and applies industry standards.
· Create accurate Engineering Change Notices with a minimum of required information

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 1 year of experience in related field
Minimum 1 year of experience working with AutoCad software
Minimum 1 year experience with ASME Y14.100, ASME Y14.5, and Mil-T-31000
Minimum 1 year experience withWindows based tools (Word, Excel)
Minimum 1 year experience with 3D modeling software SolidWorks/Pro-Engineer a plus
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Self-starter, energizing, results-oriented, and ability of multi-task

EDUCATION:
Associates Degree

SHIFT:
9/80

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
