Chipton-Ross is seeking an Micro-electronics Assembly Technician for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
Work with a team of technicians and support engineers in the assembly, fabrication, and test of electronic and microwave circuits. Assembly of Electronic circuits including manual soldering/desoldering of components. Attachment of SMT and/or QFN packages and other components to circuit boards and microwave substrates. Fabrication of wires and harnesses. Lite mechanical fabrication. Drawing and reading of plans. Testing and measurement of electronic and microwave circuits. Support of other laboratory activities.

" Demonstrated manual soldering/desoldering of circuit board components including SMT and/or QFN packages
" Ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
" Ability to interact and work with a diverse set of engineers and technician colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications :
Manual Wire- or ball-bonding, or ribbon welding
Operational Network analyzer or spectrum analyzer experience
Die attachment experience
Circuit layout with PADS
Machining experience using a mill
Associates degree or Higher with 5 years (TII) or 10 years (TIII) of experience in the field of electronics assembly. School degree and school must be accredited.
5/40 work week.
7:30 AM to 4PM
