Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Engineer for an opening in Canoga Park, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The systems analyst primarily will perform advanced concept thermodynamic design of thermal fluid propulsion systems that meet functional vehicle/mission requirements.
-During the development activities of these propulsion systems the systems analyst will primarily conduct performance analyses and evaluate the steady state and transient operation of these propulsion systems.
-Duties may include evaluation of ground test and flight data to determine engine health and conformance to performance requirements. -Duties will include creating, maintaining and using math models of propulsion systems which characterize the thermodynamic, aerodynamic, fluid dynamic and mechanical operation of these systems.


REQUIREMENTS:
- have an educational background in heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics and have demonstrated skills in writing engineering analyses in various programming languages (FORTRAN, C++, Matlab/Simulink etc.).
-Good written and oral communication skills are required. Candidate must be self-motivated, maintain attention to detail, and have good interpersonal skills to work effectively in team environments.
-Schedule flexibility to provide test support or flight support outside of normal office hours is required.
