Chipton-Ross is seeking two Engineer Tool 2's for an opportunity in El Segundo, CA.

Tool engineer will work closely with design group, manufacturing engineer group as well as other functions to facilitate the manufacturing of tools with suppliers or in house. Engineer will be the technical liaison between suppliers and internal team and ensure schedule and budget are maintained. Work with industrial machinery and equipment, tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned. Engineer will be responsible to develop and implement supplier statements of work in order to translate all design criteria in to allow supplier to build desired tool.

Bachelor's Degree in STEM
2 years experience in manufacturing engineering
Manufacturing knowledge, reading blue prints,
technical writing, project management, communication with suppliers and working with procurement.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in design/fabrication of tooling.
Design, Knowledge of NX, Catia, SAP, Six Sigma Lean
Manufacturing, Quality Background, Composites background.

Bachelor's Degree is required.
School must be accredited.

9/80 work week.
