- Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 4 for an opening in El Segundo, CA.
•Develops code and integrates complex software components into a fully functional system
•Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, execute the test procedures and documents test results to ensure software system requirements are met
•Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
•Analyzes and supports factory support issues related to software/hardware integration
•Develop test architecture for software products (Test Executives, T&C Engine, Tools)
•Develops and executes software project and process plans, implements policies and procedures
•Develop new interfaces for new instruments and systems in C, C#, .NETand other object oriented languages as well as experience in scripting languages Python, TCL, and Linux
•4+ years of experience working software development full-life cycle
PREFERRED DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•9+ years of experience in C/C++/C# and .NET software languages and scripting
•9+ years of experience in Object Oriented Application Development
•9+ years of experience of software requirements, software design, software integration, debugging and testing
•Test Program design, test procedure development, and test execution
•Experience with Model Based Engineering
•Experience with Radio Frequency Testing
•Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 6 years or agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program
Accredited advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
