Chipton-Ross is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist for an opening in Carlsbad, CA.

As one of our Social Media Content Marketing Managers, you will own developing, defining, and executing digital content across multiple social channels for our Biosciences business units. You must be comfortable working in a large, fast-paced company – strong collaboration/influencing abilities, and great organizational/project management skills are a must. With so much to do in social, the ability to prioritize tasks based on metrics, alignment with our content strategy, and understanding of each post within the larger customer journey are key. Partner with business unit managers to understand and support their campaigns across social platforms. Build, manage, optimize, and strategize social campaigns for 2-3 business units. Develop or coordinate innovative and creative digital content to engage current and potential customers across various platforms: social media, blog, and video. Execute on content that meets strategic goals and be willing to push back or revise content that does not. Manage detailed social budgets and execute on paid social ads as well as schedule and post organic content. Identify growth opportunities and advise on the implementation of best practices across social media channels. Measure and report applicable metrics and key performance indicators and provide data-driven recommendations and insights on a regular/ad hoc basis. Moderate online conversations and interact with current and potential customers through multiple social platforms.

Basic graphics design capability within Photoshop, Canva or similar program. Minimum 3 years work experience in social media marketing for a brand. Demonstrated ability to operate independently with broad guidance against a framework of defined business objectives. Ability to interact well with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people. Strong (written and verbal) communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience marketing in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industries. Basic to intermediate capabilities using Adobe Creative Suite products is a plus. Digital agency experience a plus.

Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or in relevant field

Day Shift M-F 8-5 - with flexibility to meet business needs

Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
